Friday, January 22: (Show Hours 3 to 10 p.m.) 



5:00 - 6:00 PM:
(Room 1) "THE BASICS OF RACING" - Set-up, tire choice and general maintenance on Street Stock/Pure Stock/Factory Stock division cars. Presented by Roy Anderson (of Anderson Race Cars). Guest speaker will be Area Auto Racing News technical writer Sleepy Gomez.

6:15 -7:15 PM: (Room 1)  "Legal Issues in Racing, AND WITH THE RACING BUSINESS" - Presented by Meri Van Blarcom-Gupko of Wiley, Malehorn, Sirota and Raynes Attorneys.



Saturday, January 23: (Show Hours 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.)

12:00 - 1 PM: (Room 2) RACE SAVER 305 SPRINT CARS - Region Director Joe Grandinetti outlines the basics of this series which will race at New Jersey’s Bridgeport and New Egypt Speedways in 2010.

12:30 - 1:30 PM: (Room 1) "Dirt Late Model Set-ups and Chassis Tuning" -- presented by Jim Bernheisel of Bernheisel Race Components/Lazer Chassis

1:15 - 2:15 PM:
(Room 2) TAKING PHOTOS AT THE TRACK - Geared toward the “amateur” or the person looking to enter the business, this seminar provides “the basics” about race track photography. One lucky attendee will get a chance to take photos at the Ms. Motorsports competition, up front with the professionals! Hosted by award winning racing photographer Bob Yurko.

1:45 - 2:45 PM: (Room 1) MAKIN' POWER! - presented by VP Racing Fuels Tech Director Fred Turza.

2:30 - 3:30 PM: (Room 2) SHOCKING! Shock absorber tips presented by Bob Debois of Shadow Racing Products. 

3:00 - 4:00 PM: (Room 1) "The Basics of Race Team Sponsorship" - Presented by Ernie Saxton

3:00 - 5:00 PM:
(Room 2) Ms. Motorsports Interviews (closed to public)

4:15 - 5:15 PM: (Room 1) "Safer Racer Tour" presented by Randy LaJoie of LaJoie Seating. He will cover racing safety in all divisions.

5:15 - 6:15 PM: (Room 2) TBA

5:30 - 6:30 PM: (Room 1) STEEL-BLOCK LATE MODELS - Danny Wilson, promoter of the “Steel Block Bandits” Late Model Series, discusses the exciting future, rules and information of this type of racing.

6:30 - 7:30 PM: (Room 2) Race Track Public Relations/ Media Workshop -- Open discussion between racing writers/photographers and track/series Press Directors as to professionalism, credential usage, event coverage. Hosted by Lincoln, Pa., Speedway press director Wayne Harper.

6:45 - 7:45 PM: (Room 1) GETTING STARTED - "The Basics of Racing" presented by Area Auto Racing News technical writer Sleepy Gomez. Emphasis on the Street Stock/Pure Stock/Factory Stock divisions, both dirt and pavement, with information on building the car, set-ups, selecting the right parts; and following the all-important safety rules.



SUNDAY, January 24: (Show Hours 11 to 4 p.m.)

Shocks For Quarter-Midgets - presented by Bob Debois of Shadow Racing Products.

1:45 - 2:45 PM:
(Room 1) How To Get Started In Quarter-Midget Racing presented by Rob Anderson of Quarter Midgets USA - What you need to know, purchase and do to get your child into racing from the technical, rules and safety aspects.

3 - 4 PM:
(Room 1) Quarter-Midgets of America (QMA) Region II Meeting (coordinated by Mark Tobey of QMA)
