Dear Auto Racing Businessperson:
We are in the midst of planning the Third Annual Promoter’s Summit. Again it is being presented as part of the huge Motorsports 2010 Presented by StreetBlaze 100 Race Car & Trade Show weekend at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA, located just on the outskirts of Philadelphia. It will be the 25th anniversary of the show and it is proving to be a very popular event with racers and fans.
The Summit will take place Friday, January 22nd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a one hour lunch sponsored by NASCAR. Everything will be done in time for you to make the opening of the Motorsports show. The show itself doesn't open until 3 PM on Friday and then closes at 10 PM that night. The show then runs through 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 24th giving everyone ample time to see everything.
In addition all Promoters Summit registrants will be invited to a special K&K Insurance reception from 7 PM to 10 PM Friday evening at the show. Each track or organization registering will also receive a FREE introductory subscription to Ernie Saxton's Motorsports Sponsorship Marketing News.
Len Sammons Productions would like to invite you to be part of the Promoter’s Summit.
With the sluggish economy, the slew of entertainment opportunities available and the increasing costs related to short track auto racing we will be offering six hours of high energy sessions that will address the BUSINESS of short track auto racing.
We had some great responses from many that attended our previous Promoters Summits. We are making this a high energy six hour Summit that will cover a lot of important information. It is important that we gather all of the promoters in the market area together. We can all become better at what we do by sharing information at the Summit.
Sessions will address a variety of subjects including:
* Putting new fans in the seats and having them return * Sponsorship * The importance of group rates * The media can be your best selling tool * The latest legal issues * Working with the racers * Website pointers * Idea sharing
* And so much more
Promoters working together can be beneficial to each other.
We are open to ideas and suggestions. Once you have had a chance to digest this information please feel free to be in touch to share your thoughts about the Promoter’s Summit. What would you like to see discussed. Call me at 215.752.7797 or e-mail at Esaxton144@aol.com. If you would like to participate on one of our panels please contact me.
There will be opportunities to socialize and network with the other attendees.
Once again a fee of $100 will be charged to those who sign up in advance to insure those interested are committed to attending. That same fee will then be given as a credit toward advertising in Area Auto Racing News. The fee covers two people attending.
We will be providing additional information on the Third Annual Promoters Summit as we move closer to the January 22nd date.
Your participation is important to the continued success of the Summit. The Summit credential will also be good for admittance to the Motorsports 2010 show.
Cordially, Ernie Saxton Promoters Summit Organizer
